A. Our fleet includes trucks with capacities of both 40, 50 or 60 cubic yards. However, this would be less with heavier products.

Q. Do you have an easy formula to use for calculating amounts?

- For Area - Multiply length times width in yards.
- For volume -
- Divide 36 by the number of inches you require in depth. This will give you the number of square yards covered by one cubic yard at a given depth.
- Divide the area by the number you came up with in Part 1. This will give you the number of cubic yards to order.
