| Interior Gardens - London, Ontario
This project was undertaken for an interior landscape contractor. The job began as a request to blow in approximately 350 cubic yards of soilless planting mix into an atrium area for one of the major hotels. After discussing the soilless mix, we agreed on a slightly modified blend which would provide higher nutrient levels and better anchorage. When made aware of the capabilities of the truck, the Contractor added drainage aggregates (3/4" pea gravel) for the bottom of the planters to the job requirements.
The challenge was to complete the job within a specified time frame and to prevent dust from spreading into the rest of the hotel as it was still business as usual.
Bulk loads were shipped to the site where we provided our own loading. We wet the piles overnight before we used them. This combined with the truck's dust suppression system provided almost complete control. The job went off without a hitch. We parked the truck outside one entranceway and strung the hose through the hallway into the newly constructed atrium. While we were doing the work, people were swimming in the pool right beside the planters we were filling.
What a job! A perfect opportunity to show the benefits of working with the pros at Landsource Organix Ltd.
